David McLachlan has been writing and performing his songs for over thirty years. He got his start at Fiddler''s Green doing a guest set on a night Stan Roger''s was playing. He did several guest spots at Fiddler''s, meeting songwriters like Adam Mitchell, Raffi, Stan Rogers and David Bradstreet.

In the late eighties and mid-nineties, he released several singles to radio working with producers such as Rich Dodson, Graham Shaw, and Wendell Ferguson.

David McLachlan''s debut CD, "Can''t Close A Blind Eye",
was recorded in the summer of 2002, produced by Juno Award winner David Bradstreet.

All twelve tracks from the CD have received airplay in
Canada, Britain, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia , New Zealand and Japan.
