Alicia Deeny has charmed audiences in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Her original lyrics and music capture moments of American life - train tracks in Richmond, cornfields, carousels, smoky bars - and everyday life - romance, heartbreak, and family relationships.

The musical influences of her Puerto Rican grandfather and growing up in the culturally diverse Washington, D.C. area, helped shape Alicia''s guitar style, which has evolved into a blend of American country, folk, and the Latin American ballad.

Her powerful vocal style portrays depth and emotion. Complimenting her repertoire of originals; Alicia moves easily from interpreting contemporary pop and country ballads to the romantic Latin American bolero.

Alicia has been a performing musician since she was a child. Her special talent of drawing emotion from her audiences grew stronger while a student in college as she performed in professional venues. Last summer she released her first recording, Here With You. She is currently working on her second CD which will be available in the coming months.
