The Lavens are a family band playing a mixture of original material written by Niko and Rachel Laven. Niko (20) and Rachel (13) have written many songs between them. While the music falls well within the Americana genre, Niko''s songs have a bluesier touch while Rachel''s tend more toward folk.

Niko sings and plays lead guitar, Rachel sings and plays rhythm guitar , Dad (Andreas) plays bass and guitar. Mom (Jana) provides harmony vocals. This is a true Texas Family Band.
